04-01 <br />Council Member PelNi-V-r- introduced the following ordinance and moved <br />its adoption: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 04-2001 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING CODE OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES PERTAINING TO ACCESSORY BUILDINGS IN THE COMMERCIAL <br />AND INDUSTRIAL ZONING DISTRICTS <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes hereby ordains as follows: <br />Section 1. Section 3, Subdivision 4.D. Accessory Building & Structure shall be <br />amended by adding: <br />9. Commercial and Industrial Zoning Districts. The following summarizes the <br />maximum number, size, and height of accessory buildings allowed in the commercial and <br />industrial zoning districts. <br />a. Only one (1) accessory building shall be allowed not to exceed four hundred <br />(400) square feet except when intended for storage of buses per Sec. 3 Subd. <br />4.B.2.b. <br />b. Building setbacks shall not exceed base district requirement. <br />c. Building height shall be limited to 12 feet maximum except when intended for <br />storage of buses per Sec. 3. Subd. 4.B.2.b. <br />d. Metal buildings and pole barns are prohibited except when intended for <br />storage of buses per Sec. 3. Subd. 4.B.2.b. <br />e. Roof and exterior color and material shall be compatible with the principal <br />structure. <br />f. Accessory buildings on commercial/industrial sites shall be limited to typical <br />accessory storage uses, no auxiliary commercial/industrial use shall be <br />allowed within an accessory storage building. <br />g. <br />Site and building plan review shall not be required for accessory building <br />construction as an accessory building that meets the requirements listed herein <br />shall be considered a minor project for the purposes of Sec. 2. Subd.5.A.. <br />
