6. The financial security will be released upon: <br />a. Certification in writing by the forester or landscape architect indicating that <br />the tree protection measures were installed on mass graded lots and tree <br />replacement is completed, if necessary. These must be confirmed by the <br />City. <br />b. The home builders having posted a security for the custom graded lots. <br />1009-2 TREE REPLACEMENT <br />1. Subdividers and/or home builders shall be required to replace significant trees which <br />were indicated on the tree preservation plan to be saved but ultimately were <br />destroyed or damaged. Each significant tree that was supposed to be saved but was <br />destroyed or damaged shall be replaced with two (2) replacement trees. <br />2. Replacement trees shall consist of nursery stock and be no less than the following <br />sizes: <br />a. Deciduous Trees: No less than two and one-half (2.5) inches in diameter. <br />b. Coniferous Trees: No less than six (6) feet high. <br />3. Replacement trees shall be species similar to the trees which were destroyed or <br />damaged and can include those species shown on the following table: <br />a. Deciduous Trees: <br />Maple <br />Linden <br />Honeylocust <br />Hackberry <br />b. Coniferous Trees: <br />Fir <br />White spruce <br />Black Hills spruce <br />Austrian pine <br />1009.4 <br />Oak <br />Ash <br />Birch <br />Red Pine <br />Eastern red cedar <br />White pine <br />Northern white cedar <br />Lino Lakes <br />Subdivision Ordinance Tree Preservation <br />
