Council Member Neal introduced the following ordinance and moved its adoption: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 05-97 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING GOLF DRIVING RANGES AS AN INTERIM <br />USE IN THE CITY'S SC, SHOPPING CENTER DISTRICT. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES HEREBY ORDAINS AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Section 6, Subd. 16 of the City Zoning Ordinance (SC District <br />Provisions) is hereby amended to add the following: <br />9. INTERIM USES. The following are interim uses in the SC District (require <br />an interim use permit based upon the procedures set forth in and <br />regulated by Section 4, Subd. 38 of this Ordinance) and certificate of <br />occupancy as provided by Section 5, Subd. 6 of this Ordinance. <br />a) Golf Driving Ranges: <br />i) The maximum building size shall be one thousand (1,000) <br />square feet, and shall conform with all applicable provisions <br />of the Uniform Building Code. <br />ii) Required off-street parking shall be exempt from the <br />surfacing requirements Ordinance. <br />Off-street parking areas shall be surfaced in a manner <br />determined acceptable by the City Engineer to effectively <br />control dust. <br />iii) One (1) off-street parking stall shall be required for each tee <br />box provided. Said individual parking stalls shall be <br />delineated by appropriate signage. <br />iv) The applicant demonstrate adequate provision for temporary <br />sanitary sewer and water services, subject to approval of the <br />City Engineer <br />v) Adequate methods for preventing stray balls from crossing <br />into adjacent properties and/or the public right-of-way. <br />
