BB. GRANDFATHER CLAUSE: All signs located within the City of Lino Lakes prior <br />to the adoption of this Ordinance, may continue to exist as to size, illumination and <br />present location, provided the sign does not violate any provisions of the Lino lakes City <br />Code up to the date this Ordinance is passed and adopted. A permit is required for each <br />existing sign, as applicable under this Ordinance. <br />CC. Any violation of this Ordinance shall constitute a misdemeanor. Each day of such <br />violation shall constitute a separate offense. Punishment therefore may involve a finfof <br />up to Seven Hundred ($700) dollars or a jail sentence of ninety (90) days, or both; this <br />shall not, however, allow the continued existence of a violation and removal thereof may <br />be undertaken by the City upon a ten (10) day notice of such proposed removal to the <br />violator. <br />SECTION V. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication <br />according to the City Charter. <br />Passed by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th day of July, 1997. <br />hn Landers, Mayor <br />ATTEST <br />41a,,,, <br />1Mdril n G.
