BB. GRANDFATHER CLAUSE: All signs located within the City of Lino Lakes prior to the adoption of this Ordinance, may continue to exist as to size, illumination and present location, provided the sign does not violate any provisions of the Lino lakes City Code up to the date this Ordinance is passed and adopted. A permit is required for each existing sign, as applicable under this Ordinance. CC. Any violation of this Ordinance shall constitute a misdemeanor. Each day of such violation shall constitute a separate offense. Punishment therefore may involve a finfof up to Seven Hundred ($700) dollars or a jail sentence of ninety (90) days, or both; this shall not, however, allow the continued existence of a violation and removal thereof may be undertaken by the City upon a ten (10) day notice of such proposed removal to the violator. SECTION V. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication according to the City Charter.
