Council Member Lyden introduced the following ordinance and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />ORDINANCE NO. 28-97 <br />EMERGENCY ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE MORATORIUM ON THE <br />ESTABLISHMENT, EXPANSION, MODIFICATION OR REBUILDING OF ANY <br />RADIO COMMON CARRIER FACILITY WITHIN THE CITY OF LINO LAKES AS <br />DEFINED IN ORDINANCE NO. 10-97 <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes ordains: <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has directed the City Staff to prepare an <br />ordinance regulating the establishment, expansion, modification or rebuilding of <br />any radio common carrier facility within the City of Lino Lakes, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board and City Council is in the <br />process of reviewing said ordinance, and <br />WHEREAS, additional time is needed to complete the public hearing <br />process, and <br />WHEREAS, the moratorium as defined in Ordinance No. 10-97 will expire <br />on October 14, 1997, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby <br />directs that the moratorium as established in Ordinance No. 10-97 be extended <br />from the original date of expiration to December 31, 1997 by this Emergency <br />Ordinance No. 28-97. <br />This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage by <br />the City Council. <br />Passed by the City Council this 22nd day of September, 1997. <br />)John Landers, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />N . to <br />Marilyn G.
