Council Member Elliott <br />adoption: <br />introduced the following ordinance and moved its <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 15 - 95 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING LINO LAKES CITY CODE BY MODIFYING <br />THE NOTICE REQUIREMENTS ON REZONING AND METROPOLITAN <br />URBAN SERVICE BOUNDARY CHANGES <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, ordains: <br />Section 1: Section 5, Subdivision 3(2) of the Lino Lakes City Code is amended to <br />read as follows: <br />which <br />Section 5, Subdivision 3(2): Property owners or occupants within 600 <br />feet of any property proposed for zoning district amendment (rezoning) <br />shall be notified in writing, although failure by any property owner to <br />receive notification shall not invalidate the proceedings, provided that <br />proof of an attempt at notification has been made. Notification shall be by <br />first-class mail. Such notification shall include the Affidavit of Mailing <br />completed by the City and a list of all persons who have been notified <br />pursuant to this Section. In the case of rezoning shoreland, as defined by <br />Lino Lakes Ordinance, all property owners or occupants of property, <br />abut the shoreline, shall be notified in writing of any property proposed for <br />any zoning district amendment (rezoning), even though their property may <br />be beyond the 600 feet previously contemplated in this section. <br />Section 2: Section 5, Subdivision 3(7) of the Lino Lakes City Code is amended to <br />read as follows: <br />Section 5, Subdivision 3(7): Notice for the purpose, time and place of such <br />public hearing shall be published twice in the official newspaper of the City <br />and mailed to the appropriate property owners at least ten (10) days prior <br />to the public hearing. A clear and concise map of the proposed zoning <br />district amendment shall be included in all mailings. <br />Section 3: Section 5, of the Lino Lakes City Code is amended to add the following <br />section as follows: <br />
