Council Member Elliott introduced the following ordinance and <br />moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />ORDINANCE NO: 13 — 94 <br />AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING NEW PROVISIONS OF THE CITY CODE BY ADDING <br />SECTION 208.10 COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICER AND 208.11 POLICE RESERVES <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes ordains: <br />I. <br />Section 208 Police Department is hereby amended by adding two (2) <br />sections as follows: <br />208.10 Community Service Officer. A person holding the <br />position of community service officer in the Lino <br />Lakes Police Department may, under the direction of <br />the Chief of Police, issue citations in lieu of <br />arrest for violations of Ordinances No. 502, #503, <br />#506, 1607, #802, 1901, #1006.. <br />II. <br />Save as above amended, said City Code shall stand as initially <br />passed and as previously amended. <br />This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its <br />passage and publication according to the City Charter. <br />Passed by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 12th day of <br />September, 1994. <br />ATTEST: <br />✓/LEGE <br />Marilyn <br />Vernon F.
