At which time the council asked that a short of the proposed ordinance be presented. The synapsis is as follows: 1. 1007.1 - 2. 1007.4, 3. 4. 1007.5, 1007.6, 5. 1007.7, 6. 1007.8 - 7. 1007.12, 8. 1007.13, 9. 1007.14, 10. 1007.15, 11. 1007.16 OPTIONS: 1007.3, addresses the purpose of the ordinance, the ordinance title, and definitions of terms contained in the ordinance. establishes a city tree board, which will address specific tree concerns. terms of office for tree board members. duties of the tree board, and that they are advisory to the city council. operations of the tree board, re. rules and quorom for transaction of business. 1007.11, addresses the appointment, qualifications, salary, duties, and authority of the city forester. addresses the permits required for planting, maintenance, removal, and replacement of trees on city owned property. addresses the tree care issues the city has the authority to perform on trees in city owned property. makes it unlawful to abuse or mutilate trees on city owned property, without authorization. discusses tree protection issues as they relate to city owned property, new construction sites and new subdivisions within the city. - 1007.17, addresses the violation of this ordinance, penalties of violation, and the legality of the ordinance. 1.
