• • CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 14-93 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT, 2014 MILL AND OVERLAY WHEREAS. pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the 2014 Mill and Overlay Project. bids were received. opened and tabulated according to law. and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Contractor Amount of bid Rum River Contracting 5518.700.60 1lardrives. Inc. $534.624.07 T.A. Schifsky. & Sons_. Inc. 5541.500.85 North Valley, Inc. 5542.111.63 Park Construction Company 5544.621.80 Valley Paving, Inc. 5555,912.60 Midwest Asphalt Corporation 5600280.40 Engineer's Opinion of Cost $565.650.00 AND WHEREAS. it appears that Rum River Contracting is the lowest responsible bidder: NOW, THEREFORE, 13E IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Rum River Contracting. in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the 2014 Mill and Overlay Project according to the plans and specifications approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the Cite Clerk. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidder the Bid Bonds made with their bids. except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been sieved. Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 25 day of Aug . 2014.
