• <br />• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14-101 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE NORTHPOLNTE ROADWAY AND UTILITY <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS. the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the NorthPointe <br />Roadway and Utility Improvement Project and has presented such plans and specifications to the <br />Cit) Council for approval: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City_ of Lino Lakes_. <br />Minnesota: <br />Such plans and specifications. a copy of which is on file at City Hall. are hereby approved. The <br />City Engineer is directed to advertise for bids. provide construction observation. and close out the <br />project once h is complete, and shall be paid by the hour in an amount not to exceed S28.500. <br />The City clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in Finance and <br />Commerce an advertisement for bids for the making of such improvement under such approved <br />plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for two weeks. shall specif) the <br />work to be done. shall state that bids will be received by the Clerk. at which time they will be <br />publicly opened at the Cite Hall by the City Clerk and Engineer. will then be tabulated. and will be <br />considered by the Council at 6:30 p.m. on October 13. 2014. in the Council chambers of the City <br />Hall. An) bidder whose responsibility_ is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given <br />an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility.
