Approving' Plans and <br />Specifications and Authorizing Advertisement for Bids. <br />Lino Lakes Fire Station <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority <br />INTRODUCTION <br />Staff is requesting council authorization to approve plans and specifications for the Lino Lakes <br />Fire Station and authorize advertisement for bids. <br />BACKGROUND <br />On July 14. 2014 the City Council approved Resolution No. 14-73 retaining the services of CNH <br />Architects to prepare plans and specifications for the new Lino Lakes Fire Station. Over the past <br />6 months. staff CNH and the City Council have worked to develop the final design of the station <br />to meet both the immediate and long term needs of the community. <br />CNH provided an overview of the proposed design at the January 5. 2015 council work session. <br />'The anticipated schedule for this project moving. forward is as follows: <br />City Council Approves Plans and Specifications <br />City Council Authorizes Ad for Bids <br />Bid Opening <br />City Council Awards Contract <br />Construction Begins <br />Construction Substantially Complete <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 15-03. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
