• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15-61 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION SERVICES CONTRACT <br />BIRCH STREET & CENTERVILLE ROAD STREET AND UTILITY <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, the City is extending trunk sanitary sewer, installing sanitary sewer and water <br />main laterals, and the constructing turn lanes and a bypass lane at proposed access points to the <br />Fire Station site located at the southeast corner of the Birch Street and Centerville Road <br />intersection; and <br />WHEREAS, on April 13, 2015, the City awarded the above-mentioned project to Dresel <br />Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $631,759.75; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the best interests of the city to proceed <br />with the construction oversight and administration, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />• 1. WSB and Associates, Inc., is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The <br />engineer shall provide construction services for the making of such improvement. <br />2. City staff is authorized to execute a professional services agreement with WSB and <br />Associate, Inc., in the not to exceed amount of $38,561.00. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 8°i day of June, 2015. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Stoesz and was duly seconded by Council Member Roeser and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Stoesz, Roeser, Rafferty, Kusterman, Reiner <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />JUIIafilne Bartell, City <br />• <br />Jeff Reine , Mayor <br />
