Studenski, City Engineer <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE: July 14, 2003 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 03-108, Calling for a Public Hearing on Prairie <br />Flower Road Surface Water Management Project <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority <br />BACKGROUND: <br />At the April 28, 2003, City Council meeting, a feasibility study was ordered to <br />evaluate storm drainage improvements on Prairie Flower Road, west of West <br />Shadow Lake Drive and south of Birch Street. The report is currently being <br />completed. The study will address, on a preliminary basis, design, cost, <br />assessment, schedule, and other issues as they relate to providing storm <br />drainage improvements. Improvement options will be discussed with the <br />property owners. <br />The next step in the process will be to hold a Public Hearing on the proposed <br />improvements at which time a detailed review of the report will be presented. <br />• <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Return to staff for further review. <br />2. Adopt Resolution No. 03-108, Calling for a Public Hearing on Prairie Flower <br />Road Surface Water Management Project. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Option No. 2 - Staff recommends that Resolution No. 03-108 be adopted. <br />• <br />
