• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 03-125 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE JOINT POWERS <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF HUGO FOR WATER SYSTEM <br />CONNECTION AND SHARED SERVICE <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 471.59, authorizes political <br />subdivisions to enter into Joint Powers Agreements, and <br />WHEREAS, the Cities of Lino Lakes and Hugo entered into a Joint Powers <br />Agreement on February 11, 2002 to allow Lino Lakes to provide water service to <br />the City of Hugo, and <br />WHEREAS, the Cities find that it is the best interests of their respective <br />communities to provide an additional water interconnect and allow for the <br />connection of non residential users located within the Victor Gardens <br />development, south of CSAH 8 (Main Street), <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. Hereby approves the amended Joint Powers Agreement with the City of <br />Hugo and authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the Agreement. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 11th d, of August, 2003. <br />ATTEST: <br />Ann Blair, City Clerk <br />Jahn J. ergeson, Mayor <br />
