t <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-154 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING LINO LAKES LIONS APPLICATION FOR A <br />TEMPORARY ON -SALE LIQUOR LICENSE <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statute, Section 340, allows city council to issue a <br />temporary liquor license to a non-profit organization in connection with a social event <br />sponsored by the licensee and held within the city limits; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Lions Club has made application to hold their annual <br />"pheasant feed" fund-raising event at St. Joseph Catholic Church on October 4, 2003, and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Lions Club has completed the necessary application and <br />paid the required fee, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes is conducting an investigation of the Lino Lakes <br />Lions Club, and approval is contigent upon successful completion; <br />WHEREAS, the Alcohol & Gambling Enforcement Division requires application be <br />approved by the City of Lino Lakes City Council before submitting to liquor control <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby <br />approves the request of the Lino Lakes Lions Club for a temporary liquor license. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 8th day of September, 2003 <br />ATTEST: <br />W, LY. <br />Ann Blai'r,I City Clerk <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />
