111 Council Member 0 Doh/4/ <br />and moved its adoption: <br />• <br />• <br />introduced the following resolution <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 03 - 172 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM VIETNAM VETERANS OF AMERICA <br />CHAPTER 470 - ANOKA COUNTY FOR TASER <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />tasers are equipment used as Less Than Lethal Tactics <br />by the police officers; and <br />the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 470 have <br />graciously made an offer to donate $450.00 toward the <br />cost of a taser, and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Lino Lakes City Council <br />members, do hereby accept the $450.00 donation to purchase the <br />taser and wishes to express its gratitude to the Vietnam Veterans <br />of America, Chapter 470 for the donation. <br />Jo)th Be`fges n, Mayor <br />Ann Blaar, City Clerk <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 13th day of October, <br />2003. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member Ke vvcrl- and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />(Ze,acv{-) A��(� Be✓e�rL� �'A✓is61._ 4 3 <br />The following voted against same: fU 0-v <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
