Subd. 13. Farming Operations. All farms in existence upon the effective date of this <br />ordinance and all farms which are brought into the city by annexation shall be a <br />permitted use. All dwelling units and structures for processing of farm goods shall <br />require a building permit and conform to all requirements of the Building Code. The <br />City Council may require any new farm operation to secure a conditional use permit in <br />the event of the following: <br />A. The farm is adjacent to or within four hundred (400) feet of any dwelling unit and <br />may be detrimental to living conditions by emitting noise, odors, vibrations, <br />hazards to safety, and the like. <br />B. The farming operations are so intensive as to constitute an industrial type use <br />consisting of the compounding, processing, and packaging of products for <br />wholesale or retail trade and further that such operations may tend to become <br />permanent industrial type operation that cannot be terminated as can a normal <br />farming operation. <br />Lino Lakes Zoning Ordinance General Provisions <br />3-83 <br />
