Studenski, City Engineer <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE: November 24, 2003 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 03-213, Approving Change Order No. 1 and Payment <br />Request No.1, Century Trail Lift Station <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 Vote Required <br />BACKGROUND: <br />At the October 13, 2003 meeting, City Council awarded the Century Trail Lift Station <br />contract to Carl Bolander & Sons Company in the amount of $77,406.00. <br />The Change Order addresses the design changes requested by Public Works <br />associated with the control pad and panel for the Century Trail Lift Station. This raises <br />the total project contract to $82,237.00. <br />It is staffs recommendations to approve Change Order No. 1, which results in a total <br />project cost increase of $4,831.00 and authorize Payment No. 1 of $6,031.03. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Return to staff for further review. <br />2. Adopt Resolution Number 03-213, approving Change Order No.1 and Payment <br />Request No. 1 for the Century Trail Lift Station project. <br />3. Not adopt Resolution No. 03-213. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Option No. 2 - Staff recommends adoption of Resolution Number 03-213. <br />
