CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15-77 <br />APPROVING AMERICAN LEGION POST 566 APPLICATION <br />FOR A 1-4 DAY TEMPORARY ON -SALE LIQUOR LICENSE <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 340A, allows the city council to consider a 1-4 <br />day temporary on -sale liquor license to a non-profit organization in connection with a <br />proposed social event sponsored by the licensee and held within the city limits; and <br />WHEREAS, the American Legion Post 566 has submitted an application for a 1-4 day <br />temporary on -sale liquor license to serve alcohol at their proposed special event located <br />at 7731 Lake Drive on August 14, 15 & 16, 2015; and <br />WHEREAS, the American Legion Post 566 has paid the required fee; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has conducted a background check on the applicant; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Alcohol & Gambling Enforcement Division requires the application be <br />approved by the City of Lino Lakes City Council before being submitted for approval to <br />the Liquor Control Board; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby <br />approves the request of the American Legion Post 566 for a temporary 1-4 day on -sale <br />liquor license. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 27th day of July, 2015. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council <br />Member and was duly seconded by Council Member <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />and <br />
