Council Member Dahl introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01 - 99 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE CIRCLE -LEX VFW POST #6583 <br />FOR THE SCHOOL PATROL PROGRAM APPRECIATION DAY EVENT <br />WHEREAS, the Rice Lake Elementary School Patrol students attend <br />an appreciation day at the Mall of America, Camp <br />Snoopy, <br />WHEREAS, funding for the Camp Snoopy entrance fee is sponsored <br />by the Suburban Law Enforcement Association, however <br />the transportation cost to the Mall of America is not <br />included, <br />WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex VFW Post #6583 has made a donation in <br />the amount of $280.00 to the City of Lino Lakes to <br />defer the cost of the transportation provided by Lorenz <br />Bus Company; and <br />WHEREAS, the monies will be appropriated to the General Fund in <br />the following manner: <br />Increase Revenue - Contributions <br />Increase Expenditures -Police <br />$280.00 <br />$280.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes <br />hereby accepts the donation of $280.00 to defer the cost of <br />transportation to the Mall of America/Camp Snoopy for the School <br />Patrol Appreciation Day and wishes to express its gratitude to <br />the Circle -Lex VFW Post #6583 for their donation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 23rd day of July, <br />2001. <br />Joh <br />Berg on, <br />Jean tiger, Deputy rk <br />The .tion for the ad..tion of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member O'Donnell and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Bergeson, Carlson, Dahl, Reinert and O'Donnell <br />The following voted against same: None. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
