CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15-127 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES, AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION <br />CONTRACT, BIRCH STREET WETLAND GRADING PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, quotes were solicited for the Birch Street Wetland Grading Project, quotes were <br />received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following quotes were received: <br />Contractor Amount of bid <br />Olson's Excavating Service $18,132.47 <br />Interstate Companies $20,080.00 <br />Kuechle Underground Inc. $22,430.00 <br />Dresel Contracting $43,750.00 <br />Engineer's Opinion of Cost $20,000.00 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Olson Excavating Services is the lowest responsible quoter; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Olson <br />Excavating Services on behalf of the City of Lino Lakes for the Birch Street Wetland <br />Grading Project according to the plans and specifications approved by the City Council and <br />on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 26th day of October, 2015. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />and was duly seconded by Council Member and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
