Council Member O'Donnell introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-150 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING LINO LAKES LIONS REQUEST TO CONDUCT <br />OFF-SITE GAMBLING <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statute, Section 349 requires organizations to be licensed <br />by the Charitable Gambling Control Board, and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Lions Club has acquired said license, and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Lions Club has made application to hold their annual off- <br />site gambling activity to be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on October 13, 2001, and <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Gambling Control Board requests the City of Lino Lakes to <br />approve or deny this application by resolution <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby <br />approves the off-site gambling activities of the Lino Lakes Lions Club being conducted at <br />St. Joseph Catholic Church. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 10th day of September, 2001 <br />ATTEST: <br />er, Deputy City <br />John Begeson ayor <br />The motion for the adoption of the forgoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Carlson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor of: Bergeson, Carlson, Dahl, O'Donnell, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: none <br />�.. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
