CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-35 <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PRECINCTS, POLLING PLACES AND <br />ADDING NEW PRECINCTS AND POLLING PLACES <br />WHEREAS, the legislature of the State of Minnesota has been redistricted; and <br />WHEREAS, the voting precincts in the City of Lino Lakes must be reestablished after <br />the legislature has been redistricted; and <br />WHEREAS, residential growth in the city has created a need for additional precincts; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes, Anoka County, State of Minnesota that: <br />1. The city be divided into six voting precincts effective with the September 10, <br />2002 State Primary Election, and <br />2. That the boundaries of the precincts are hereby established pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statute 204B.14, subd. 3c, and <br />3. That the polling places of the precincts are hereby established pursuant to <br />Minnesota Statute 204B.16, and <br />4. That such boundaries and polling places shall be as follows: <br />Precinct #1 — Polling Place - Lino Lakes Senior Center, 1189 Main Street: <br />South on 4th Avenue from Pine Street on the north to Main Street on the south, east on <br />Main Street to Lake Drive, south on Lake Drive to I -35W, northeast on I -35W to Main <br />Street, south 011 Main Street to Centerville border, follow Centerville border east and <br />south to Main Street, east on Main Street to 24th Avenue, our eastern border, north on <br />eastern border to northern border, west on northern border to 4th Avenue. <br />Precinct #2 -Centennial Fire Station #2, 7741 Lake Drive: <br />South on 4th Avenue from Pine Street on the north to Main Street on the south, east on <br />Main Street to Lake Drive, south on Lake Drive to Apollo Drive, southwest on Apollo <br />Drive to Sunset Road, north on Sunset Road to northern border, east on northern border <br />to 4th Avenue. <br />
