CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-42 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A BUILDING CONDITION ASSESSMENT AND <br />SITE COVERAGE ANALYSIS FOR PROPERTIES IN THE TOWN CENTER <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has taken certain actions toward the future development of <br />the Town Center area, including the acquisition of property, discussions with developers, <br />discussions with the YMCA, successful applications for Livable Communities Grants <br />from the Metropolitan Council, and the completion of an economic feasibility study; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council at this time desires to explore the potential for development <br />and redevelopment opportunities provided by the creation of Redevelopment Tax <br />Increment Financing Districts; <br />WHEREAS, staff has outlined the scope of potential Redevelopment Districts and has <br />obtained quotes for the preparation of a Building Condition Assessment and Site <br />Coverage Analysis, and has recommended Schoell & Madson, Inc. as the consultant for <br />the study. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA that the preparation of the study is hereby authorized, and <br />that Schoell & Madson, Inc. shall be the consultant retained to prepare said study at a cost <br />not to exceed $6,900 in accordance with the letter of proposal. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of May, 2002 <br />Berg 'son, ayor <br />Ann Blair, City Clerk <br />
