CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-56 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND <br />AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS— WEST SHADOW PONDS <br />WHEREAS, the owner of West Shadow Ponds has petitioned the City for the installation of <br />sanitary sewer, water, storm sewer and road improvements, and <br />WHEREAS, it has previously been determined the installation of the improvements is feasible, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the costs for the proposed improvements are secured through the development <br />agreement between the City of Lino Lakes and Richard S. Carlson & Associates, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the developer remains responsible for adhering to all of the conditions of the West <br />Shadow Ponds preliminary plat approval, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made part hereof, <br />are hereby approved. <br />2. The City clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the <br />Construction Bulletin and advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement <br />under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for <br />ten days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the <br />Clerk. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will <br />be given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids <br />will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash <br />deposit, cashier's check bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for five (5) <br />percent of the amount of such bid. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 10th da • une, 2002. <br />ATTEST: n <br />Ann J.
