COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-121 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF <br />FUNDS TO IMPROVE CIVIC COMPLEX AIR QUALITY <br />AND DESIGNATING FUNDING SOURCE <br />WHEREAS, city staff has learned of the need to improve the air quality in the Civic <br />Center Complex, and <br />WHEREAS, staff has conducted research to locate the source of the problems and <br />identify solutions to make the necessary improvements, and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends measures be taken including installing carbon monoxide <br />detectors at several locations, installing a centralized electronic monitoring system that <br />alerts us to problems, and providing a programming control override to help dehumidify <br />the air, and <br />WHEREAS, the total cost of the proposed improvements is estimated to be $26,000, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the funding source for these proposed improvements would be the Capital <br />Improvement Fund (401); <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes authorizes and approves the expenditure of approximately $26,000 for the purpose <br />of taking measures to improve the air quality in the Civic Complex and designating the <br />Capital Improvement Fund (401) as the funding source. <br />Approved by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9TH day of September, 2002. <br />ATTEST: <br />Ann J.
