Council Member o ' Donn P 1 introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-02 <br />RENEWAL APPLICATION TO PERMIT GAMBLING AT THE VFW POST 6583 <br />FOR LADIES AUXILIARY LINO LAKES <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes Council met at it's regularly scheduled <br />Meeting of January 10, 2000, and <br />WHEREAS, Lino Lakes City Council discussed the Lawful Gambling of the VFW <br />Ladies Auxiliary Post 6583 to conduct gambling at 7868 Lake Drive, <br />Lino Lakes; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has conducted an investigation of the VFW Ladies <br />Auxiliary Post 6583; and <br />WHEREAS, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 6583 is in compliance to City Ordinance; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary appears to take into consideration the best <br />interest of the City Of Lino Lakes; and <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES approves the charitable gambling activity of pull tabs by <br />the VFW Ladies Auxiliary at 7868 Lake Drive, Lino Lakes. <br />Approved by the Lino Lakes City Council on the 10 day of January 2000. <br />Actite)(27,9( <br />John l rgeson, Mayor <br />Ry Chel Gaustad, CMC Clerk -Treasurer <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />a <br />rl G on and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: Bergeson, Carlson, Dahl, O'Donnell <br />
