Council Member Carlson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00 — 22 <br />PREMISES PERMIT RENEWAL APPLICATION FOR LAWFUL GAMBLNG <br />AT THE VFW POST 6583 OF LINO LAKES. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes met at its regularly scheduled <br />meeting of February 28, 2000, and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes City Council discussed lawful gambling at the VFW Post <br />6583 to conduct gambling at 7868 Lake Drive, Lino Lakes, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has conducted an investigation of the VFW Post <br />6583; and <br />WHEREAS, the VFW Post 6583 is in compliance with City Ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, the VFW Post 6583 appears to take into consideration the best interest of the <br />�-' City of Lino Lakes; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes hereby approves the Renewal Premises Permit Application for the VFW Post 6583 <br />of Lino Lakes <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 28th day of February 2000. <br />/rtILe <br />-Gaustad, CMC City Clerk <br />Joh�f J. Bergeson, Mayor <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Dahl and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: Bergeson, Carlson, Dahl, O'Donnell <br />The following voted against the same: <br />none <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
