Council Member ( introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000 - 63 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE CIRCLE -LEX VFW POST #6583 <br />AND THE CIRCLE -LEX VFW LADIES AUXILIARY POST #6583 FOR THE SCHOOL <br />PATROL PROGRAM APPRECIATION DAY EVENT <br />WHEREAS, the Rice Lake Elementary School Patrol students attend <br />an appreciation day at the Mall of America, Camp <br />Snoopy, <br />WHEREAS, funding for the Camp Snoopy entrance fee is sponsored <br />by the Suburban Law Enforcement Association, however <br />the transportation cost to the Mall of America is not <br />included, <br />WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex VFW Post #6583 and the Circle -Lex VFW <br />Ladies Auxiliary Post #6583 have made a donation in the <br />amount of $660.00 to the City of Lino Lakes for the <br />cost of the transportation provided by Lorenz Bus <br />Company; and <br />WHEREAS, the monies will be appropriated to the General Fund in <br />the following manner: <br />Increase Revenue - Contributions <br />Increase Expenditures -Police <br />$660.00 <br />$660.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes <br />hereby accepts the donation of $660.00 for the cost of <br />transportation to the Mall of America/Camp Snoopy for the School <br />Patrol Appreciation Day and wishes to express its gratitude to <br />the Circle -Lex VFW Post #6583 and the Circle -Lex Ladies Auxiliary <br />Post #6583 for their donations. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 22nd day of May, <br />2000. <br />Ry-dhel Gaustad, Clerk-Treasurer/CMC <br />The motion for the adoption o the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: /ILL <br />er <br />Joh soMa or <br />Y <br />The following voted against same: /00-p--)e- <br />Whereupon <br />00-r--)eWhereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
