Council Member (,rlUS introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-65 <br />RENEWAL APPLICATION TO PERMIT GAMBLING AT MILLERS ON MAIN <br />FOR THE CENTENNIAL FIGHTERS RELIEF ASSOCATION <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes Council met at it's regularly scheduled <br />Meeting of May 22, 2000, and <br />WHEREAS, Lino Lakes City Council discussed the Lawful Gambling of the Centennial <br />Fire Fighters Relief Association to conduct gambling at 8001 Lake Drive, <br />Lino Lakes; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has conducted an investigation of the Centennial <br />Fire Fighters Relief Association; and <br />WHEREAS, the Centennial Fire Fighters Relief Association is in compliance with City <br />Ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, the Centennial Fire Fighters Relief Association appears to take into <br />consideration the best interest of the City of Lino Lakes, <br />NOV THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES approves the charitable gambling activity of pull tabs by <br />the Centennial Fire Fighters Relief Association at 8001 Lake Drive, Lino Lakes. <br />Approved by the Lino Lakes City Council on the 22nd day of May 2000. <br />John J.
