Council Member GA -?j Sq introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-66 <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING ANTENNA LEASE REVENUES <br />WHEREAS, certain budget requests made for the 2000 budget year were not included in the final <br />adopted budget due to funding limitations; and <br />WHEREAS, several new items that require additional funding have become known subsequent to <br />the adoption of the 2000 budget; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes annually receives revenue for the leasing of space to various <br />concerns for the installation and maintenance telecommunications antennas; and, <br />WHEREAS, said antenna lease revenue has been allowed to accumulate in the Capital <br />Improvements Fund to an estimated balance of $121,258, which sum includes revenue for <br />2000; and, <br />WHEREAS, there currently are no designations or encumbrances against said antenna lease <br />revenue; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City Council to annually designate said antenna lease revenues for <br />specific purposes. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes hereby <br />designates accumulated antenna lease revenue and antenna revenue receivable in 2000 as follows: <br />Emergency Generator for Fire Department $18,000 <br />Access/monitoring system for both water towers 12,000 <br />I of Salary Adjustments 38,600 <br />Technology Improvements <br />Software Licensing 16,000 <br />Internet access 2,800 <br />Internet/E-mail server 5,000 <br />Web server 5,000 <br />Printers 2,000 <br />Full Text Search - 5 stations 2,350 <br />Paging system for Police 5,325 <br />Paging system for City Hall 5,250 <br />VCR Automated Playback System 3,700 <br />Monitors for Community Room 2,000 <br />Total Technology Improvements 49,425 <br />Total Designated Antenna Lease Revenue $118,025 <br />
