Council Member <br />its adoption: <br />�2t , introduced the following resolution and moved <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000-78 <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING SUSPENSION AND PENALTY FOR LIQUOR <br />LICENSE VIOLATION PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE 701 <br />WHEREAS, The Lino Lakes City Council conducted a hearing on August 2, 2000 on <br />alleged liquor license violations by liquor license holder 49 Club and license holder <br />Shirley Kaye's; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council found liquor license violations to have occurred by the 49 <br />Club and by Shirley Kay's, specifically the sale of intoxicating liquor and/or beer to <br />underage persons; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes City Council after due deliberations has decided the <br />appropriate penalty under these circumstances. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br />1. The 49 Club and Shirley Kay's shall each pay an administrative penalty in the <br />amount of $1,500.00 forthwith to the City. <br />2. The City shall refund $1,000.00 to each license holder on or about August 1, 2001 <br />provided no further similar violations have occurred. <br />3. The 49 Club and Shirley Kaye's shall each be closed for business September 3, <br />2000 and September 4, 2000. <br />4.
