Council Member O'Donnell <br />adoption. <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-101 <br />A RESOL UTIONACCEPTING DONATIONS FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE LINO LAKES <br />PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT'S ANNUAL FAMILY TURKEY SHOOT <br />WHEREAS, The Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department is holding this annual holiday <br />event on Saturday, November 11, 2000; and <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />The event is a free holiday event for the families of Lino Lakes; and <br />Participant teams, consisting of one child (ages 4-14) and one adult, will compete <br />in a variety of low-key athletic events for prizes; and <br />The following organizations were made aware of the desire of the Lino Lakes <br />Parks and Recreation Department to conduct the Family Turkey Shoot with the <br />support of program sponsors and have donated the following amounts to the City <br />to defer the costs of this event: <br />Lino Lakes State Bank <br />Lino Lakes Lions Club <br />Circle Pines Lexington Lions Club <br />Forest Lake Area Athletic Association <br />$350 <br />$300 <br />$250 <br />$100 <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Lino Lakes hereby accepts the <br />donations to help fund the Family Turkey Shoot event and wishes to express its sincere gratitude <br />and appreciation to these fine organizations for their donations. <br />r <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this o�--) day of 6ta),SL;), 2000. <br />Jo Bergeson, Mayor <br />g Y <br />M.
