Council member Dahl introduced the following <br />resolution and move its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000-124 <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2000 GENERAL FUND BUDGET <br />(Amendment #2) <br />WHEREAS, in 1999 the City Council accepted the 1998 Financial Report, and <br />WHEREAS, the 1998 Financial Report identified excess revenues in the General Fund, <br />of which the City Council designated $24,000 towards the purchase of <br />voting machines, and <br />WHEREAS, the voting machines were purchased in 2000, and <br />WHEREAS, the 2000 General Fund budget should be amended to increase the Election <br />Capital Outlay line item and the dollars be taken from the General Fund <br />Designated Fund balance (see Schedule A, #1), and <br />WHEREAS, the 2000 General Fund budget should also be amended to record various <br />council actions throughout the year for salary adjustments and technology <br />improvements to be funded by accumulated antenna lease revenues per <br />Resolution 00-66 (see Schedule A, #2), and <br />WHEREAS, Council budgeted $50,000 in 2000 for the Black Duck trail extension which <br />will not occur in 2000, but will occur in 2001, and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends a transfer of such trail funds from the General Fund to <br />the Dedicated Park Fund to finance the future Black Duck trail extension <br />(see Schedule A, # 3). <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the following budget amendments and <br />transfers be authorized per the attached "Schedule A": <br />Adopted by the City Council of Lino Lakes this 18th day of December, 2000. <br />jidianne Bartell Pity Clerk <br />/1(2-4 <br />ohn B rgeson, dei?", <br />
