The changes recommended by staff are <br />64 highlighted in the ordinance. <br />65 <br />66 Council Member Stoesz noted that he's seen other cities include a fee for special council meetings, <br />67 such as a case when a meeting is called for a specific action that benefits one person. He had asked <br />68 staff about adding that to the Lino Lakes schedule. Ms. Cotton responded that, in checking with other <br />69 cities, that type of fee is rarely used. Mayor Reinert suggested, if it becomes necessary, the city can <br />70 add it. <br />71 <br />72 Council Member Stoesz said he has also asked staff to look at cleaning up the schedule and removing <br />73 obsolete items such as copying of books. Also he suggests a higher cost for color copies than black <br />74 and white. Staff will investigate. <br />75 <br />76 Council Member Stoesz moved to approve the 1st Reading of Ordinance No. 12-15, with a direction <br />77 that staff review certain fees before the council considers 2nd reading. Council Member Roeser <br />78 seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />79 <br />80 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />81 <br />82 3A) Resolution No. 15-129, Supporting Lino Lakes as a Beyond the Yellow Ribbon <br />83 Community — Administrator Karlson explained that the resolution supports the city becoming a <br />84 community designated as Yellow Ribbon, meaning there is extra support available to military families <br />85 through awareness and connections to services. A group of leaders from the community, including <br />86 council members, have already met kicking off the process and gaining support. <br />87 <br />88 Council Member Kusterman asked how people can learn more about the program. Administrator <br />89 Karlson explained that it's early in the process for this city but more information will be coming <br />90 down the line. Mayor Reinert added that the program brings community organizations together to <br />2 <br />
