CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 2B <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Sarah Cotton <br />MEETING DATE: December 14, 2015 <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution No. 15-145, Amending the 2015 General <br />Operating Budget <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City Council has made a number of fiscal decisions through the year which have an impact on <br />the general operating budget. Additionally, economic conditions and projected changes in budget <br />projections have had a significant impact on the City's budget for 2015. Staff has examined the <br />potential budget areas that will be impacted by these factors. The impacts include increased <br />revenues in building activities, MSA, etc., as well as changes in expenditure areas due to <br />personnel changes, changes to professional and contracted services, transfers for park land loans <br />and other factors. <br />Staff has prepared a listing of proposed budget adjustments for conditions that are known today <br />for City Council consideration. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the approval of Resolution No. 15-145. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />Resolution No. 15-145, Amending the 2015 General Operating Budget <br />
