SECTION 09 91 55 <br />WATER TOWER REPAINTING <br />PART1 GENERAL <br />1.01 SECTION INCLUDES <br />A. Cleaning, surface preparation, and application of paint to the Eastside 150,000 gallon elevated <br />reservoir in the following designated areas: <br />1. Interior Wet Coating. <br />2. Interior Dry Coating. <br />3. Exterior Coating. <br />B. Painting City Name Sign at 2 locations each on elevated tank. Refer to City Name Sign shown in <br />Figure 3 at the end of these specifications. <br />1.02 PRICE AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES <br />A. Measurement and Payment <br />1. Separate Lump Sum Bid Items are provided for the following: <br />a. Exterior cleaning, surface preparation, disposal, and painting (including City Name Signs). <br />b. Interior wet cleaning, surface preparation, disposal, and painting. <br />c. Interior dry cleaning, surface preparation, disposal, and painting. (including piping in pit). <br />d. Full, Negative -Air Containment. <br />e. The Site work defined in this Section shall be included in the Lump Sum Bid for <br />Mobilization. <br />2. All other Work and costs of this Section shall be incidental to the Project and included in the <br />Total Base Bid. <br />1.03 RELATED SECTIONS <br />A. Section 00 31 00 — Available Project Information. <br />B. Section 33 01 16 — Steel Water Reservoir Repairs. <br />1.04 SUBMITTALS <br />A. General: Contractor shall provide colors as specified. <br />B. Shop Drawings: Contractor shall submit shop drawings for the following: <br />1. Paint, including quantities provided. <br />2. Blasting Media. <br />3. Containment Plan. <br />4. TCLP Sampling Plan. <br />C. Shop Drawings shall be submitted in accordance with Section 01 33 00. <br />1.05 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Paint Manufacturer: The products as specified in Part 2 are to be used on this Project.
