North Oaks Company PUD Concept Plan <br />Mr. Asleson presented the information about the proposed development located south of <br />County Road J/ Ash Street, west of CSAH 21/ Centerville Rd, and north of Wilkinson <br />Lake Boulevard. The land is approximately 46 gross acres and consists of a residential <br />density mix of single family homes, twin homes and senior housing totaling 136-161 <br />housing units. <br />Almost all of the property is within a shore land overlay district. The regulations of the <br />shore land district (Chapter 1102) shall apply to the entire development. The specific <br />regulations of the PUD shore land district (Section 1102.13) shall apply to the twin home <br />and townhome development. <br />Comments from the board <br />• Dropped curbs should be installed for the banding turtle <br />• Surface water flowage system could be developed along the wetland preservation <br />corridor <br />• Trail should be incorporated into the development along the wetland through the <br />greenway system <br />Mr. Asleson reminded the board that the plan will come back to the Environmental Board <br />again. <br />Ms. Andrzejewski MOTION to recommend the concept plan to be moved forward. <br />Seconded by Mr. Schwartz. Motion carried 5-0 <br />6. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. Recycling Update <br />1. 2015 Budget <br />Ms. Fonfara mentioned that the Score budget had a slight deficit due to the <br />free furniture recycling because it did cost to dispose the unusable furniture. <br />Ms. Fonfara applied for a grant through Anoka County Recycling Program <br />and was awarded the grant in the amount of $10,000.00. <br />2. Organics Recycling <br />Ms. Fonfana has a one page survey in the 2015-2016 Winter Newsletter to see <br />if residents are interested in a Neighborhood Organics Recycling Drop-off <br />Program.
