Lino Lakes Fire Station <br />Mr.Asleson presented the Fire Station 2 Update <br />Mr. Asleson presented the Fire Staion 2 Update and Review and one of his concerns <br />is in restoring the wetlands. He would like to see the wetlands restored two to one. <br />Ms. Bor wanted to know of the construction timeline. Will the building be done by <br />January 2016. Also if there was suffinent drainage for the trucks, an example would <br />be the washing of the trucks after the trucks went out on a call. The site is near <br />wetlands. <br />Mr. Heiskary was wondering how much of the city land would be left after the <br />construction of the new fire station. <br />Ms. Klebba was wondering after the site has been used by receational vechicles is <br />there much of the natural seed habitat left. <br />Ms. Andrzejewski was wondering about the road width on Centerville and Birch <br />Streets. Mr. Asleson said that there would be turn lanes added to both Centerville <br />and Birch Streets. <br />Ms. Bor suggested that the Elm Ash Bore site be moved to another location Also <br />she would like to see Rice Creek Watershed District involved in the discussions of <br />the new fire station. <br />The board reguested to have emails sent out of the design of the Fire Station 2. <br />B. Environmental Board Goals, Final List <br />The Environmental Board Goals were updated and summized to be presented to the <br />City Council. <br />C. Recycling Updates and Anoka County 2015 SCORE Contract <br />K.C. Kye presented the upcoming events for Recycling Saturday which includes <br />paper shedding in February and May. And adding bicycles for recycling and reuse <br />also in May. <br />APPROVED MINUTES <br />
