Review Regular Agenda of December 28, 2015 — <br />Item 2A regarding the Issuance of Certificates of Indebtedness is related to the review of <br />the capital budget. Since discussion of that budget was postponed, this item was pulled <br />from the agenda. <br />Items 3A and 3B were briefly reviewed by Administrator Karlson. Both relate to second <br />reading of an ordinance. <br />Item 4A, Resolution No. 15-153, Approving Change Order No. 2, Lino Lakes Fire <br />Station. Architect Quinn Hutson reviewed the request, noting that it consists of a handful <br />of small items. At the request of Mayor Reinert, Mr. Hutson also reviewed some of the <br />items that were actually deducts from the contract costs. <br />Item 4B, Hiring of Paid On Call Firefighter. Chief Swenson reviewed the hiring process <br />and qualifications of the applicant. <br />Item 5A, Resolution No. 15-152, Approving Plans and Specifications and Authorizing <br />Advertisement for Bids for Water Tower #1 Reconditioning Project. Public Services <br />Director DeGardner reported on the project. Council Member Rafferty asked if there <br />will be any change to the logo on the water tower and Mr. DeGardner pointed out that the <br />logo is included in the staff report and that it could be done in either single or multi -color. <br />City Administrator Monthly Progress Report. The council requested that Administrator <br />Karlson add the matter of establishing a process to review budgeted capital items as they <br />are purchased. <br />1 <br />
