CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 72-89 <br />RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE PRELIMINARY 1989 TAX LEVY, <br />COLLECTABLE IN 1990. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes is in need of certain funds <br />to pay expenses, obligations and operating costs <br />anticipated in the year 1990, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes is restricted by levy <br />limitations imposed upon it by the State of <br />Minnesota, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota, hereby does levy on a preliminary <br />basis the following upon the taxable property in said City of <br />Lino Lakes, to -wit: <br />1. Total preliminary amount levied in the year 1989 to <br />be spread for taxes due and payable in the year 1990 <br />is in the total sum of $ 1,535,086.00. <br />2. The preliminary amount above levied is for the <br />following purposes: <br />General Fund $ 1,371,527.00 <br />General bonded Debt <br />Equipment Certificates <br />(interest shortage) <br />Equipment Certificates <br />Equipment Certificates <br />of 1987 <br />of 1989 <br />of 1989B <br />Total General Obligation <br />Bonded Debt <br />5,265.00 <br />87,098.00 <br />71,196.00 <br />163,559.00 <br />TOTAL LEVIES 1,535,086.00 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Lino Lakes City Council that <br />the general fund operating budget as reviewed by the City <br />Council represents the basis for this levy. Individual <br />department budgets are subject to final approval by the City <br />Council and shall be authorized by separate action prior to <br />December 28, 1989. <br />Passed the 15t1 day of <br />.
