Council Member Neal <br />and moved its adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 17 - 90 <br />RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE CENTENNIAL ICE ARENA <br />WHEREAS: <br />WHEREAS: <br />WHEREAS: <br />WHEREAS: <br />the Centennial community of Blaine, Centerville, <br />Circle Pines, Lexington and Lino Lakes does not <br />have access to an indoor ice arena, and <br />there are thousands of Anoka County citizens of all <br />ages living in the Centennial area, and <br />the County has provided financial assistance to <br />other governmental agencies in Anoka County for the <br />purpose of providing ice arena facilities, and <br />the Centennial Ice Arena facility would serve the <br />citizens of the entire Centennial area, including <br />the Anoka County communities of Blaine, <br />Centerville, Circle Pines, Lexington and Lino <br />Lakes, <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Commissioners be <br />encouraged to designate at least $300,000.00 of County funds <br />for the purpose of assisting with the Centennial Ice Arena <br />Facility. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes Council this 9th day of April, <br />1990. <br />1 n GJ�nderson, <br />Clerk -Treasurer <br />y <br />d74.4/ <br />rold L.
