Council Member Reinert introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 88 - 90 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PORTABLE GENERATOR <br />WHEREAS: pursuant to an advertisement for bids for a <br />portable generator, bids were received, opened and <br />tabulated according to law, and the following bids <br />were received complying with the advertisement: <br />NAME & ADDRESS AMOUNT OF BID <br />Ziegler, Inc. <br />901 West 94th Street <br />Minneapolis, Mn. <br />(Used) $20,356.00 <br />(New) $32,145.00 <br />Interstate Detroit Diesel $26,810.00 <br />2501 East 80th Street <br />Bloomington, Mn. <br />Stuart Austin/Flaherty Equipment Corp. $28,959.00 <br />750 Southwest 1st. Street <br />New Brighton, Mn. <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />it appears that Ziegler, Inc., 901 West 94th <br />Street, Minneapolis, Minnesota is the lowest <br />responsible bidder for a used portable <br />generator, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and the Clerk are hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into the attached contract with <br />Ziegler, Inc, 901 West 94th Street, Minneapolis, <br />Minnesota for the used portable generator according to <br />the plans and specifications therefor approved by the <br />City Council and on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with <br />their bids, except that the deposits of the successful <br />bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained <br />until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 20th day of <br />December, 1990. <br />
