Council Member Reinert introduced the following <br />resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 16 — 91 <br />A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE PETITIONED DETACHMENT AND ANNEXATION OF <br />THE LYNDA PETERSON PROPERTY. <br />WHEREAS, Lynda Peterson a resident and property owner within the <br />corporate limits of Centerville has petitioned the <br />Minnesota Municipal Board for detachment from Centerville <br />and annexation to Lino Lakes; and, <br />WHEREAS, The Peterson land is contiguous with Lino Lakes; and, <br />WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes can and will provide city services <br />to the Peterson property; and, <br />WHEREAS, The City of Centerville is unable to provide the service <br />level of Lino Lakes; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA: <br />That the City of Lino Lakes supports the petitioned action <br />initiated by Lynda Peterson and referenced as case D-270 by the <br />Minnesota Municipal Board. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 25th day <br />of February 1991. <br />Harold L. Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Neal and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Neal, Kuether, Bisel, <br />Reinert. <br />The following voted against same: None, Council Member Bohjanen was absent. <br />Where upon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
