CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 17 -91 <br />A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE DESIGNATION OF 1989 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FROM ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLANNING TO THE <br />ACQUISITION OF BLIGHTED PROPERTY IN THE FLOODPLAIN. <br />WHEREAS, <br />In 1989 the City of Lino Lakes was granted Federal <br />Community Development Block Grant Funds administered <br />through Anoka County, and <br />WHEREAS, $17,037.00 of those 1989 dollars were initially <br />designated for economic development planning, and <br />WHEREAS, The city spent $8,318.89 on a housing study, but due <br />to additional restrictions on planning projects no <br />other projects met eligibility requirements, and <br />WHEREAS, The city is presently involved in a multi-year CDBG <br />Surface Water Management/Blighted Property Project <br />for which those 1989 dollars may be used, and <br />WHEREAS, The Anoka County Board of Commissioners requires the <br />City of Lino Lakes to pass a resolution amending <br />CDBG designations, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: <br />1. That the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes hereby <br />desires to amend the designation of it's 1989 CDBG <br />Economic Development Planning funds to it's 1991 <br />Surface Water Management/Blighted Floodplain Property <br />Project. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 25th Day of <br />March , 1991. <br />Harold L.
