Council Member Kuether <br />`-- adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-67 <br />A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br />FUNDING FOR THE CITY OF LINO LAKES FOR FUNDING YEAR 1992 - 1993. <br />WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes is anticipating receiving <br />Community Development Block Grant Funds in Funding Year <br />1992 - 1992 in the amount of $31,192.00, and <br />WHEREAS, The City is in the process of establishing a Surface <br />Water Management Plan within the existing wetlands, and <br />WHEREAS, There is a need to acquire property within existing <br />wetlands for the purpose of implementation of said <br />plan, and <br />WHEREAS, The City Council supports the continuation of the Senior <br />Citizens Center Coordinator Program which has been <br />funded through C.D.B.G. Funds since it's inception, and <br />WHEREAS, The City Council supports the funding of a Senior Outreach <br />program for our community through the Anoka Community Action <br />Program, and <br />WHEREAS, The City Council supports the RISE Program, designed to provide <br />assistance to area residents with physical and/or mental <br />handicaps in the form of job training and skills development, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, The City Council supports Alexandra House and its cause of <br />assisting battered women and their children, <br />
