Council Member Neal introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92 - 92 <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE <br />WHEREAS, The State of Minnesota mandated a program called Gopher <br />State Locate, a program designed to located underground <br />pipelines, cables, and other utilities prior to a <br />contractor/builder and/or other installer moving any <br />earth, and <br />WHEREAS, Municipalities are required to be responsible for the <br />administration and physical inspection of this program, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes has to recover the costs <br />associated with this program, and <br />WHEREAS, The primary sources of calls on this program, and <br />individuals benefiting from this program are builders <br />and/or contractors and therefore making single family <br />building permits the most logical place to recover costs. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the attached Table No. 3 -A - <br />Building Permit Fees be amended to read as follows: <br />OTHER INSPECTIONS AND FEES: <br />5. Inspections and Administration of Minnesota <br />State Gopher Locate $20.00 <br />Adopted by the City Council of Lino Lakes this 27th day of July, <br />1992. <br />Vernon F. Reinert, Mayor <br />/%2Ct� 7-- <br />Marilyn' <br />Marilyn'' Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member Kuether and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Neal, Kuether, <br />Reinert, Elliott, Bergeson. <br />The following voted against same: None. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
