Council Member Elliott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 92 - 128 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR RESHANAU LAKE ESTATES SOUTH, FIFTH ADDITION IMPROVEMENT WHEREAS: pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Reshanau Lake Estates South, Fifth Addition Improvement, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: NAME & ADDRESS AMOUNT OF BID Redstone Construction Company, Inc. $148,449.89 P. O. Box 218 Mora, Minnesota 55051 Northdale Construction Company, Inc. $165,900.20 14450 Northdale Boulevard Rogers, Minnesota 55374 AND WHEREAS, it appears that Redstone Construction Company, Inc., P. O. Box 218, Mora, Minnesota 55051, is the lowest responsible bidder, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and the Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Redstone Construction Company, Inc., P. O. Box 218, Mora, Minnesota 55051, for the improvement of Reshanau Lake Estates South, Fifth Addition according to plans and specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk in the amount of $148,449.89. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 12th day of October, 1992.
