CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION 08-93 <br />A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br />FUNDING FOR THE CITY OF LINO LAKES FOR FUNDING YEAR 1993-1994. <br />WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes is anticipating receiving <br />Community Development Block Grant Funds in Funding Year <br />1993-1994 in the amount of $34,434.00 (-$1,000.00 or <br />$33,434.00), and <br />WHEREAS, The City is in the final phases of a Surface Water Management <br />Plan within existing wetlands, and <br />WHEREAS, There is a need to acquire property within existing wetlands <br />for the purpose of implementation of said plan, and <br />WHEREAS, The City Council supports the continuation of the Senior Citizens <br />Center Coordinator Program which has been funded through <br />C.D.B.G. Funds since it's inception, and <br />WHEREAS, The City Council supports the funding of a Senior Outreach <br />Program for our community through the Anoka County Community <br />Action Program, and <br />WHEREAS, The City Council supports the RISE Program, designed to provide <br />assistance to area residents with physical and/or mental <br />handicaps in the form of job training and skills development, and <br />WHEREAS, The City Council supports Alexandra House and its cause of assisting <br />battered women and their children, and <br />WHEREAS, The City Council supports adaptive recreation programs for its' <br />disabled residents, <br />
