Council member Kuether introduced the <br />following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NUMBER 26 - 93 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE CIRCLE -LEX VFW POST 6583 <br />AND AMENDING THE 1993 GENERAL FUND BUDGET <br />Whereas, it is the goal of the Lino Lakes City Council and the Lino Lakes Police <br />Department to equip each squad car with Mobile Computer Equipment <br />for community safety and for improved police communication between <br />other cities and agencies, and <br />Whereas, the Circle -Lex VFW Post 6583 has made a generous donation of <br />$8,000.00 to the City of Lino Lakes for the purchase of two mobile data <br />terminals, and <br />Whereas, the monies will be appropriated to the General fund in the following <br />manner: <br />Increase Revenue - Contributions <br />Increase Expenditures - Police Capital outlay <br />8,000.00 <br />8,000.00 <br />Now Therefore Be It Resolved, that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes hereby <br />accepts the donation of $8,000.00 for the purchase of two mobile data terminals and <br />wishes to express its sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Circle -Lex VFW Post <br />6583 for its donation. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Lino Lakes i 24 day of May, 1993. <br />Mari6yn G.
